LARGE SILVER-MOUNTED KUKRI DAGGER
Nepal / c. 1900-1950

A Kothimora style kukri dagger for the Gurkha regiment. The blade is decorated with a stylistic notch near the base. It also has the mark DD-64. The scabbard is very intrically decorated with floral silver mounts and coloured glass stones, all on top of a velvet cover. The scabbard is marked with the number 99 on silver mounts.
