FINNISH WWI CROSS OF LIBERTY 4TH CLASS 1918

DESCRIPTION
An original Finnish WWI medal, the 4th class Cross of Liberty without swords, awarded for the merits of the Finnish War of Independence (1918). The medal is of blue-enameled bronze with silvered details, attached with the red-and-white fabric ribbon. The medal is designed by the famous Akseli Gallen-Kallela. This example is one of 2 100 crosses manufactured.

CONDITION
The medal is in good vintage condition with small signs of wear. The enamels are intact.
