DESCRIPTION
An original Finnish WWII medal, the 2nd class Cross of Liberty (Vapaudenristi) with swords, awarded for the merits of the Finnish Continuation War (1941-1945). The medal is of white-enameled silver with gilded details attached with the red-and-white fabric ribbon. The medal is designed by the famous Akseli Gallen-Kallela. This example is one of 1 419 crosses manufactured.

CONDITION
The medal is in good vintage condition with only minor signs of wear. The enamels are intact.
