IMPERIAL RUSSIAN M/1909 DRAGOON OFFICER SABRE

DESCRIPTION
An original antique M/1909 dragoon officer sabre manufactured in the Imperial Russia. The floral decorated brass hilt features a monogram of the Emperor Alexander III. The grip is made of black bakelite. The crossguard is stamp-marked by the manufacturer. The wide triple-fullered steel blade is slightly curved and engraved with the Russian Imperial eagle and the monogram of Alexander III. The ricasso is marked by the manufacturer and the original leather washer is still attached. The wooden scabbard is covered with black leather and fitted with brass mounts, marked by the manufacturer. A brass belt loop is attached.

CONDITION
The sword is in good antique condition with small signs of age and overall wear. The sword fits tightly and well in its scabbard.
