FINNISH M/1930 SHOULDER BOARDS OF A NAVY SENIOR LIEUTENANT

DESCRIPTION
An original vintage WWII wartime period, or slightly later, pair of Finnish M/1930 shoulder boards of a navy Senior Lieutenant (Laivaston Kapteeniluutnantin Olkaimet). The boards are made of navy blue cloth with white backing, sewn with gilded navy insignia and gilded brass lions. The boards represent quite early type, but the exact manufacture time is hard to tell. The white stitching on the reverse side is made of synthetic fiber (glows under UV light), which dates its manufacture to at least the 1940s.

CONDITION
The shoulder boards are in good vintage condition with minor signs of age and wear.
