NORTH AFRICAN TUAREG TELEK ARM DAGGER

DESCRIPTION
A vintage North african ‘telek’ arm dagger manufactured probably in the mid 20th century and used by the Tuareg people of Sahara. The wooden handle is covered with copper grips scales and fitted with a copper crossguard. The double-edged carbon steel blade is unmarked. The ricasso is fitted with a decorated brass mount. The scabbard is made of several leather layers and fitted with decorated brass mounts.

CONDITION
The knife is in good vintage condition with small signs of age and overall wear. The leather belt strap of the scabbard is missing. The knife fits tightly and well in its sheath.
