SYRIAN JAMBIYA DAGGER

DESCRIPTION
A vintage Arabic Islamic jambiya dagger manufactured probably in the first half of the 20th century Syria. The handle is made of layers of buffalo horn, decorated with discs of mother of pearl and fitted with brass mounts. The curved carbon steel blade is etch-decorated with Islamic phrases. The wooden scabbard is rather simple and covered with dark leather.

CONDITION
The knife is in good vintage condition with small signs of age and overall wear. Three small discs of mother of pearl are missing in the handle. The knife fits tightly and well in its sheath.
