CAUCASIAN KINDJAL DAGGER WITH NIELLO SILVER MOUNTS

DESCRIPTION
A beautiful antique kindjal dagger manufactured in the late 19th century Caucasus, probably Georgia. The plain bone handle is riveted with two flower-shaped niello silver rivets. The double-edged steel blade is double-fullered. The wooden scabbard is covered with black leather and fitted with niello silver mounts decorated in rich floral motifs. No visible hallmarks on the silver parts.

CONDITION
The knife is in very good antique condition with minor signs of wear. The knife fits well in its scabbard.
