IMPERIAL RUSSIAN M/1810 NAVY HANGER

IMPERIAL RUSSIA, 19th century

An extremely rare pattern M/1810 hanger for the Imperial Russian Navy with brass-mounted ebony hilt. The grip is leather-covered and has a brass-wire binding. The crossguard has some regimental markings. The peening of the sword has been changed for a screw and the wooden part of the handle has cracks due to drying. No scabbard.
