ILVES PUUKKO KNIFE
Finland, Lapland / late 20th century

A vintage large-sized puukko knife “Ilves” (Bobcat in english) manufactured by the Marttiini workshop in Rovaniemi, Finland, approximately in the 80s. The masur birch handle is fitted with a lower brass mount. The steel blade depicts a carved Lapland’s tundra scenery, and the other side of the blade has a gift text engraving: “Heikki & Aila, Rovaniemi 13.7.84”.
The maker-marked leather sheath comes with a belt strap.
