SOUTH AMERICAN FACÓN KNIFE
C. 20th century / South America

A 20th century silver Facón dagger with a polished blade. The scabbard is chiseled and very nicely decorated with embossed floral patterns and a peacock in the middle. Decorations extend to the end of the scabbard as a flattened, wide tip, and it has signs of an old restoration.
This dagger seems to be a bit bigger and beefier than typical touristic daggers.
