EARLY RENAISSANCE QUILLION/LEFT-HAND DAGGER
1500-1540 / Italy/France

A fine quillion dagger in an excavated condition. The blade is double-edged with a single fuller. The crossguard is spirally fluted and the pommel shows a fluting reminiscent of a sea shell.
Proportionally very finely crafted and a nicely conditioned piece. The grip is missing.
